How to make a seed spacing template:
- Take a 2′ wide piece of plywood and we cut it 2′ x 2′, then measure it into 2″ grids.
- then use 3/4″ wood screws at the 2″ marks, and then screwe the wine corks that were cut into 1″ length onto each screw. I just used a common box cutter to cut the corks into the correct length.
- Also add a touch of liquid nails at the base of each screw just as an added guarantee that the corks would stay put.
- Then add a couple of drawer pulls on the back side to press the board into the ground to create the 1″ indention into the soil for your seeds.
