Fairy garden from broken clay pot

Fairy garden from broken clay pot

Fairy gardens are so much fun to make. I have fairies and gnomes in my yards. I love them. They add such a nice touch of whimsey to the yard-scape. There is a big array of miniature fairies and accessories to look at and choose from. Any of these will make your fairy gardens charming and beautiful.

This is a nice twist on a fairy garden. I know that we have all had broken clay pots. Now we can create wonderful little fairy gardens with them.

What you will need:
Broken pot
Succulents are the ideal plants for creating fairy gardens ( you can use them as trees )
Moss ( as grass )
Well moistened soil

How to make:
Create a layer of stones on the bottom for drainage and fill 1/3 of the pot with soaked soil.
Place a large potsherd as a wall in the middle of the pot and fill the space with soaked soil.
Place small potsherds as the steps of the stairs in a half circle around the main potsherd.
Fill the top of the flower pot with succulent plants and cover the dark soil with moss.
Decorate the garden with tiny rooted succulents cuttings and all kinds of natural treasures.
